# Trading GUI Troubleshooting Updated: `2026-04-01T16:45:07Z` ## Root Page Shows `Stopped` - this is normal safe default behavior - click `Open MT5 GUI` - unlock the session - wait for the protected page to request session start ## Root Page Shows `Starting` For Too Long - click `Refresh Status` - open `https://trading.bizniz.cloud/logs/summary` - check `mt5-browser-session.service` and `mt5-browser-gateway.service` ## Unlock Succeeds But Preview Does Not Appear - click `Refresh Status` - if needed, click `Start Session` - verify the protected page eventually shows `Running` - if it still fails, check browser-session logs ## Snapshot Route Returns Unavailable - the session stack is likely inactive or still warming up - refresh once - if still unavailable, open the log summary and verify the browser session services ## Embedded GUI Looks Blank - open the MT5 client in a new tab from the protected session page - refresh once after the browser session turns `Running` - confirm the session stack is not back in `Stopped` ## Start Or Stop Action Fails Check: ```bash systemctl status mt5-browser-session.service mt5-browser-gateway.service --no-pager -l /trading/forex-mt5/scripts/status-browser-session-stack.sh tail -n 80 /trading/forex-mt5/logs/browser-session/mt5-browser-session.log tail -n 80 /trading/forex-mt5/logs/browser-session/x11vnc.log ``` ## Security Reminder - do not bypass the protected session route - do not publish raw VNC, RDP, or X11 - do not enable live trading while troubleshooting
